This powder is the it-piece of Essence's Hello Autumn collection, the little autumn leaves on the surface of the powder are adorable. In my opinion, it is a product that you buy mainly because of its beauty, not because it is such a great face powder. That is why I said that I refuse to touch it until I get a backup that I can actually use.

Essence had a similar powder a few years ago, it was also a limited piece, with tiny flowers on the surface of the powder. I have a review of it here. This autumn leaves one is the big brother of that powder. Essence should make one with tiny snowflakes as well, we would love it.

(it is very similar to the tone of my hand, so you can barely see it)
You can use the colours of this powder on their own as eyeshadows, or you could mix them together and use it as a blush topper. The colour mixed together is a gold shade, so medium and deep skintones could use it as a highlighter. It looks pretty and subtle with tiny shimmer flecks.

As I said, I managed to buy a backup with the help of Edina (thank you again, girl! :] ), and turned out that I won one as well, so now I have 3 of these beauties. I'm not complaining! I will keep one for displaying purposes only.

I love this! I enjoy how you always review the brands I love, i.e. Catrice or Essence. This powder is stunning though I think I'd use it as a highlighter. ♥

Thank you! I write about brands that are widely available (and awesome) in Hungary, so Essence + Catrice are the winners. :) They have excellent quality and both brands are wallet-friendly. They kinda blow other drugstore brands out of the water (like Maybelline, L'Oreal, Rimmel), and have way better quality than those brands, in my opinion. Maybelline, L'Oreal and brands like that are ridiculously expensive in this country anyway, so yay for Catrice and Essence. 8)
