Lovely has a whole new range of nail polishes for summer, a handful of them being sand polishes. They are different from previously seen Lovely sand polishes, because they are kida similar to the Nicole by OPI Roughles. Swatches and thoughts after the jump.

Nicole by OPI Roughles dupes?
I bought these a month ago when they first showed up in my local Rossmann. There are several shades, you can check the rest of them here. The main reason why I bought them is that they reminded me of the oh-so-popular NOPI Roughles textured polishes. The limited edition Roughles were very sought-after 1-2 years ago, but of course, they never made their way to Hungary.

These are indeed very similar to the NOPI ones, they have the same sugar-like finish with tiny microglitter in them. If you look at the Roughles ones (which I highly recommend, click the link above or search them by yourself), the glitter in the Lovely nail polishes is not as prominent.

The NOPI Roughles have bigger, multicoloured glitter particles in them, which is the reason why they are so unique and beautiful. You almost can't notice the glitter in the Lovely ones, but regardless, the texture and the idea is the same. P2 has come out with more legit dupes, so if you can buy P2 in your country, definitely check those out. Unfortunately I have no access to the brand.
Lovely Summer Sand nail polish - Nr. 5
(2 coats)
The mint green one has a great formula that is easy to work with, it's not too thick. The turquoise microglitter is more visible in this one than in the baby blue one.
Lovely Summer Sand Nr. 5
Two coats are needed for full coverage, though you may get away with just one if you are very careful.

Lovely Summer Sand nail polish - Nr. 4
I had issues with the baby blue sand polish, because it was thick and kinda hard to work with. It dragged on itself, that's why it looks kinda bad on the nails. I had to add nail polish thinner to it, so now it works just as well as the mint green one. Nail polish thinner to the rescue, as always.
Lovely Summer Sand nail polish - Nr. 4
It is a beautiful colour that is gorgeous for spring and summer. You know that I love my pastels, nothing has changed in 5 years. This one also has turquoise microglitter in it, but it does not show up on the nail unless you are observing it up close.

I purchased the products with my own money.
I've never heard of this brand, but I love how they look and so I am going to have to get my hands on them!
ReplyDeleteIt's a Polish brand, you might be able to find them as Wibo brand too :) Been a big fan of their nail polishes for a couple of years now.
