I am back with the review of a new Avon fragrance. If you are in the market for a perfume that is a beast, you have come to the right place.

In today's review, I write about Avon's newest addition to their Luck fragrance family, Lucky Me. It is also the intense EDP version of the scent, so that is telling in itself.
The product was introduced as a champagne and amber scented perfume which instantly grabbed my attention, as I am quite fond of those notes. Upon trying it myself, Avon Lucky Me turned out to be more complex than that.

Upon spraying it, the jasmine instantly makes itself known, but shortly after it becomes more creamy and sweet as the champagne and amber notes show themselves. I can't really smell the white currant or mandarin, but the middle white florals are definitely there and unfortunately my head can totally feel it if I'm too generous spraying it. My salvation is in the amber, sandalwood and champagne notes, as they ground the scent. I'd recommend spraying once or twice only, as it is the intense version of the fragrance.
Speaking of spraying little, this guy is both a sillage and longevity beast, it is up there with Dior Hypnotic Poison. People will know of your presence if you are wearing this. For the exact same reason, please don't spray more than once in an office setting or a closed environment, otherwise you will kill people. When the perfume arrived, I sprayed twice on my clothes just chilling at home, and I kid you not, I had to change my clothes and open the windows, it was so strong. I also had to put my shirt in the washer, so no-no for 2 sprays while indoors.
If you are sensitive to white florals, especially jasmine, please don't even think of blind buying Avon Lucky Me, as it's really prominent. Definitely try a tester first. However, if you are in the market for a strong fragrance (or you want a gift for a loved one), you will like it. I would go out on a limb and say that if you like (again) Dior Hypnotic Poison or Poison Girl type longevity and sillage, look no more.
I quite like how the glass bottle of the perfume is ombre magenta and purple, it is very much so on the aesthetically pleasing side of perfume bottles. It would look good on any vanity.
To sum it up, even though Lucky Me is more floral than I expected, if you are into champagne smelling perfumes, you will not be disappointed. It is also creamy and sweet, and people will notice if you are wearing it. You will most likely leave a scent trail.
