The Walking Dead fans, your time has come. To celebrate the premiere of the 6th season of the show, I will show you a nail polish that was inspired by a heavy scene of the 4th season. I have a lot to say and many photos to show.

Now first of all, I wasn't very familiar with the show 'til January, this year. I watched all 5 seasons in like a week, and I am happy to say that it is - hands down - my favourite tv show of life. It deserves the incredible amount of hype. It kicked the butt of many of my beloved shows such as Hannibal, True Blood and AHS. TWD wins, what else can I say. 

Azzal kezdem, hogy nem néztem a sorozatot egészen ez év januárjáig, amikor is 5 évadot néztem meg durván egy hét alatt. Minden eddigi sorozatot lepipált, mit is mondhatnék. Fenékbe rúgta a Hannibalt, a True Bloodot és az AHS-t is. Minden elismerést megérdemel a sorozat, amit csak kaphat.

I placed my very first order in April, purchased 2 of the mini sizes, and the parcel arrived in 2 weeks. It was neatly and safely packaged. I love that Dollish Polish is an actual affordable indie brand, and ordering from Hungary was very easy. There are many indie brands that you can't order from Hungary, or even if you can, the shipping will cost a fortune. 

Áprilisban adtam le az első rendelésem, és két hét alatt ért ide a csomag. Biztonságos és aranyos csomagolásban érkezett a 2 "mini" lakk, amit rendeltem. Nagyon tetszik, hogy a Dollish Polish egy olyan indie márka, amihez viszonylag könnyen és olcsón hozzá lehet jutni Magyarországról. Nagyon sok indie lakkot körülményes megrendelni, mert nem szállítanak hozzánk; vagy ha sikerül is, nagyon sokba kerül a szállítás.

You can get 2 sizes of the nail polishes: mini bottles (9ml for $5) and the actual full size of them (15ml for $10). Now mind you, even the mini size will last you for years, because when you think about it, 9ml of nail polish is a lot. It is 2 ml more than the full size Essence polishes.

Két méretben választhatunk lakkot: a mini 9 ml-s üvegeket 5 dollárért, és a nagy 15 ml-s üvegeket 10 dollárért. Megjegyzem, hogy a "mini" üveg is 2 ml-vel több lakkot tartalmaz, mint a teljes méretű Essence lakkok, így ezeket sem igazán hívnám mininek, bár a képen valóban kicsinek tűnik.

Let's talk about the polish itself. It is a zombie / olive green crelly polish with a lot of rainbow glitter in different shapes and sizes. I consider it either a Spring/Summer or Halloween nail polish. The official description is the following:

"Inspired by the field of wildflowers from one of the most dramatic scenes ever from The Walking Dead. This yellow-toned Olive crelly, has varying sized matte glitters in shades of white, coral, pink, green, yellow, and black."

Magáról a lakkról:

A Look At The Flowers Lizzie egy zombizöld crelly lakk, amiben különböző színű, méretű és formájú glitter kapott helyet. Az angol hivatalos leírást a fenti kép fölött olvashatjátok.

If I wanted to describe the colour myself, I'd mention 2 ways:

1.) It really does look like a field of flowers, just like the one in the Lizzie death scene of the 4th season.

2.) If you think about it, the polish also looks like Lizzie's corpse in pieces in green goo, which can be either  zombie puke or the grass she died on. Imagine this: someone went through her corpse with a lawn mower, without noticing the body. That's what this nail polish looks like.

Ha nagyobb mélységekben is körül akarnám írni a lakkot, akkor két oldalról közelíteném meg:

1.) Tényleg úgy néz ki a lakk, mint a virágos rét, ahol Lizzie jelenete játszódik.
2.) Ha kreatívabb akarok lenni: zombihányás; VAGY valaki átment fűnyíróval Lizzie hulláján anélkül, hogy észrevette volna. 

Magáról a jelenetről a sorozatban: Lizzie maximálisan megérdemelte a történteket, őt utáltam a legjobban az összes karakter közül. Még jobb, hogy a kedvenc karakterem küldi aludni Lizzie-t. Dupla siker, imádom Carolt. A kedvenc női karakterem.

All hail Carol, she is my hero. What can I say, Lizzie just had to go. If you are familiar with the show, you will know what I'm talking about. She was my most hated character, sent to sleep by my very favourite character Carol. She went through the biggest character development out of all the characters, she is definitely my favourite female character of the show.

As a crelly polish, you can get away either with 2 or 3 coats, depending on the application. I used 3 thin coats on the photos. The lasting power is very good, and it applies nicely, even though it is packed with a ton of glitter. The consistency is not too thin or thick.

Mivel egy crelly lakkról van szó, két vagy három réteg kell belőle, applikációtól függően. Én három vékony réteget használtam a képeken. A lakk tartóssága és állaga szuper, a rengeteg glitter ellenére is könnyen lehet felvinni.

This little Dollish Polish baby is my very first indie nail polish, and I am absolutely pleased with it. I have yet to show you the other colour I ordered, but I can already tell that I will grab other fandom nail polishes too. Huge thumbs up to the brand, I highly recommend it. Nail polish insipired by your favourite tv show or movie - it can't get any better than that.
