I asked you on facebook a couple of months ago if you could recommend me a pretty shimmery forest green nail polish. I decided to buy Midnight Green by Avon out of all the shades you mentioned. This is exactly the shade I was looking for, it's beautiful. It is on clearance in the current catalogue.

As you can tell, Essence's flakey top coat is one of my favourite nail polishes ever. This time, I applied a grey toned lilac under it. The lilac nail polish on the photo was the star of my very first blogpost, you can check it out here.

I've been having too much fun with my Essence top coat in Night In Vegas. This time, I applied a shimmery plum shade underneath.

I mentioned yesterday that I received three nail polishes in my Essence prize bag. I already tested two of the shades. Both of the shades are very opaque, and one thicker coat is enough for full coverage, even though I applied two coats for the sake of the photos. The orange one is a great colour for Halloween, and the bronze is just beautiful that's ideal for Summer and/or for the Holidays.

Ahogy tegnap említettem, három körömlakkot is tartalmazott az Essence csomagom, azokból kettőt már teszteltem is. Mindkét árnyalatnak teljes fedése van már 1 vastagabb réteg felvitele után, ami nagyszerű. A képeken két rétegben kentem fel, fedéstől függetlenül általában 2 réteget használok mindenből. A narancssárga színű szuper lesz Halloweenre, a bronz pedig egyszerűen gyönyörű, ami pont megfelelő nyárra vagy az Ünnepekre.

Nail of the Day | Essie Mesmerize

Essie Mesmerize is a beautiful creamy royal blue, and it's perfect in one coat, but for swatching's sake I did two coats. I love blue nail polishes, and this one is a gorgeous unique colour, so I will wear this a lot.

Mesmerize is from the Spring 2009 collection, and I'm considering to buy one more colour of this collection, that one is called Eternal Optimist.

(Similar: OPI - Dating A Royal, but it's darker than Mesmerize.)

To sum up: Mesmerize is my first Essie nail polish, and I'm really impressed. The colour is gorgeous, opaque in one coat, and it does not chip.
