Monthly Favourites: April & May 2014

Today I'm here with my monthly favourites from April and May. May was a very bad month of 2014 for me, I'm so glad it's over. I couldn't wait for it to be over. It's only the 8th of June, and this month is already better than the whole of May was. Now let's move on to the favourites:

Colossal Collective Haul | April - May 2014

I wasn't able to post my April haul at the end of April, so I decided to just upload a collective April-May haul. You'll see a lot of photos down below. Let's start!

EOTD: NYX Copper - Make Your Blue Eyes Pop!

Today, I used my latest purchase from NYX, the eyeshadow called Copper. I'm a fan of red, bronze and coppery colours anyway, and the fact that they are making blue eyes more vibrant, is a fortunate plus.

A legutóbbi szerzeményemmel, a NYX Copper szemhéjpúderével készítettem egy sminket. Alapból nagyon szeretem a bronz, rozsda, bordó és piros színeket a szemhéjon, az meg külön plusz pont, hogy ezek mind kiemelik a kék szemet. 

The eyeshadow itself is very similar to Essence and Catrice both in pigmentation and texture. NYX eyeshadows are normally very expensive here, but I picked this up for cheap, fortunately. I would not, by any means, buy these at their full price.

Maga a szemhéjpúder szerintem egyáltalán nem különbözik az Essence vagy Catrice szemhéjpúdereitől, sem állagra, sem pigmentáltságra. Az outletes 300 Ft-os árat megérte, de teljes magyar árat biztosan nem fizetnék ki értük. Netes rendelésnél még szóba jöhet, ott sem olyan drága, mint nálunk a Müllerben. 

As the name suggests, it is a pretty copper shade, thus making blue eyes vibrant. I like it! I applied a matt red shade in the crease.

Lévén, hogy rozsda színű, a kék szemeket nagyon szépen kiemeli. Egy matt piros színt vittem fel a mélyítővonalba, bár a NYX az abszolút domináns az egész szemhéjon.

I already have a dupe for it from a cheap but great little palette. Although the NYX shadow has more dimension to it, and the other eyeshadow is more red than copper, they are quite similar.

Találtam egy hozzá hasonló árnyalatot egy kis palettában, amit a 390 Ft-os (régen 350 Ft-os) boltokban lehet kapni, csupa bronzos, bordó és narancsos színnel. A NYX árnyalat több dimenziós, sárgás altónussal, míg a másikban a vörös altónus a meghatározó.

Haul: Rossmann, Müller outlet

As most of you know, January is a hectic month for the wallet, because a lot of brands are having crazy sales. Same applies to Essence and Catrice, I've already mentioned their clearance-fests they are doing every January and August. Let the photos speak!

Mint azt a legtöbben tudják, a január kritikus hónap a pénztárcának, hisz a legtöbb márka óriási akciókat, kiárusításokat tart. Ez az Essence és Catrice háza táján sincs másképp, bár ezt minden évben minimum kétszer elmondom, úgyhogy most nem is szaporítom a szót, beszéljenek a képek.

A pelyheskéből kettőt még teljes áron vettem, az Infinite Matt alapozóból egyet szintén, mert az ördög ugye sosem alszik.

Facebookon már említettem, de nagy valószínűséggel a Rossmannokban holnap kezdődik a Catrice kiárusítós party, a lakkjaik közül mind megy, érdemes most lecsapni azokra, amikkel szemeztek egy ideje.

I was lucky enough and got a chance to test the new Clump Defy mascara by MaxFactor.

A MaxFactortól is jött egy csomagom, voltam olyan szerencsés, hogy tesztelhetem az új spirált.

In the last few weeks, everyone went crazy over the fact that the only Müller outlet we have in the capital is having crazy sales on YSL, E.L. and Guerlain products. By the time I got there, there was literally nothing left, except for fragrances, NYX, Essence and Clinique products. I picked up a pretty NYX eyeshadow, and a Lolita Lempicka deo perfume, which I use as a regular perfume. It's a delish woodsy-sweet fragrance.

Az elmúlt hetek egyik őrülete volt a Müller outlet, ám mire én hétfőn odaértem, már semmi nem volt, leszámítva egy-két Clinique, Essence és NYX dolgot, na meg a parfümöket. Egy szép, rozsda színű NYX szemhéjpúder és egy Lolita Lempicka illat jött velem haza. A LL illatokkal körülbelül 4 éve szemezek, de borzasztó drágák. A fenti 10 ezer forintról volt leárazva egy ezresre. Az igaz, hogy ez hivatalosan parfüm deo, nem mintha így nem parfümként használnám, 3-4 órán át így is érezni. Nagyon kellemes édes-fás-erdős illata van.

Rossman is also having a nice sale at the moment, you can get Neutrogena lipbalms and Helia D BB creams for really cheap. There is a 25% off on all Max Factor products, so I picked up the regular size bottle of my beloved Angel Nails shade. The mini bottle I have will soon be empty.

A Rossmann is jó kis akcióval kedveskedik február 15-ig, a Neutrogena ajakápoló (SPF 4) 350 Ft-ba, a Helia D BB krém pedig 1400 Ft-ba kerül. A MaxFactor termékekre is 25% kedvezmény jár most, így megvettem az egyik kedvenc lakkom, az Angel Nails #55 árnyalat nagy verzióját is, hisz a mini már nem sokáig húzza.

Cyanide Eyes and Lips / Ciánkék szemek és ajkak

Az egyik kedvenc színem a ciánkék, és ma épp a kezembe akadt egy apró kis paletta, amiben ott díszeleg egy gyönyörű árnyalata. Ez lett az eredmény :)
Cyanide blue is one of my favourite colours, and today I found a small eyeshadow palette that has a beautiful cyanide shade. Here is the result. :)

I applied the eyeshadows with a sponge tip applicator to achieve great pigmentation.

A szemhéjpúdereket szivacsos applikátorral vittem fel, így a legpigmentáltabbak.

A sminket a cybergoth stílus és a Deathstars nevű svéd banda Cyanide című dala ihlette. Cybergothoknak minden napra, a szolidabbaknak farsangra/buliba ajánlom ;)
The look was inspired by cybergoths and a song called Cyanide by Deathstars. Hope you like it.

Meg kell említenem, hogy imádom a Sleek kék Pout Paint-jét, egyszerűen gyönyörű :) Nagyon jó, hogy van egy kék szín is a választék között, mert már az OCC kék lip tar-ja is szerelem volt, de nálunk az nem kapható. Ez kárpótolt :) Az ajkamon használtam alapszínként, és arra ütögettem fel a szemhéjpúdereket.

I just need to mention that I'm in love with the blue pout paint by Sleek. I've wanted the blue OCC lip tar for so long, but OCC is not available here, so I'm happy that Sleek also has a blue shade :) LOVE. I used it as a base on my lips, and then I applied eyeshadow on top of it.

A Miss Rose kezd ismertté válni, bár továbbra sem tartják sokra, mert olcsó és kínai márka. Remélem ez változik majd a jövőben. Nézzétek a színeket!

Swatches of the shades I used. Miss Rose is a cheap Chinese brand, and it's underrated in my opinion. Look at that pigmentation! Amazing.

Actually,I'm not really into Katy's music that much, but one thing is sure: she always wears beautiful and amazing make-up looks. (remember California Gurls)
When I was watching her video ET, I was like :  (ó___Ó)
All 3 looks are absolutely fantabulous! My favourite one is the warrior/deer/whatever look at the end of the video, so I recreated it. (like a month ago,lol)
